Three arrests made during joint operation

Dear Resident,

Our central and eastern neighbourhood teams joined forces with our neighbourhood support team and council CCTV operators to tackle drug dealing in Eastfield and Millfield.

During the operation, they carried out a mix of plain clothes, high-vis and cycle patrols, with the CCTV operators identifying any potential drug deals.

We conducted a number of stop searches, which resulted in both class A and class B drugs being seized as well as a large amount of cash.

Three arrests were made:

⚖️A 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with various drug offences. He is due to appear in court later this month

⚖️A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis, and has since been bailed until January

⚖️A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis, and has since been bailed until January
